The company was set set up by Paul and Clare Davis in 2001 to supply Driving Experiences to the growing number of Driving Experience Agencies, it is run by professionals who have experience of running World Class Motorsport teams.

U Drive Cars is not aiming to be the biggest in the industry, we want to provide small to medium size events to a very high standard, we cover all of the details for you to ensure nothing is left to chance, you can rely on our attention to detail on any event that you wish us to have run for you or that you join with others. We own all of our car fleet, the cars you see on this site are those that you get to drive or ride in.

Paul Davis is the Managing Director with over 25 years experience of Motorsport and the Automotive Industry at World Class level.

Clare Davis manages the Marketing, her experience has been gained in Motorsport and as a Marketing Manager in the ICT/Education sector. One of Clares favourite motorsport projects was the World Sports Car Championship from 1986 -88 with the TWR Jaguar Team which culminated with the 1988 Le Man 24 Hr race victory for the XJR-12.

Craig Davis looks after the workshops and on event support, he has competed with great success in motorsport from the age of ten, he was driving solo from the age of 7 and racing minis from 10 to 13 yrs old winning his first championship aged 12, onto Karts at national level from 12 -15yrs competing in Super 1 and Champions of the Future where he was lucky enough to be able to count Lewis Hamilton as a friend. Then onto single seaters from 16yrs, from this he has developed a good back ground in vehicle preparation and event support, he also uses his experience to good effect as an instructor too.

Joe Abernethy takes great care of the all important office administration, Joe is a keen motorsport enthusiast who rallies at club level and has a Rotax Max kart for his very rare spare time fun.

Having run both championship winning Touring Car and World Sportscar teams, Paul knows how important preparation and attention to detail is.

He has been involved with most of TWR's key programs since 1979 these include:- From 79-84 British, Belgian, French, European and Australian Touring cars with Mazda, Audi, Rover and Jaguar.

From late 84-88 it was World Sports Cars with Jaguar including LeMan and Daytona 24hrs .

In 1988-92 Paul led the set up of the Jaguar/TWR joint venture manufacturing program which became Jaguarsport, he worked on the XJR, XJR-S, XJ220 and XJR-15 programs.

From 1992-94 he Project managed the Aston Martin DB7 engineering program.

From 94 to 2001 Paul worked on many Engineering and Racing projects including Lamborghini Diablo, Saab 9-3, Volvo C70 and Clio V6 along with engine and vehicle programs inc engines for :- Oldsmobile in Indy cars and Opel in DTM, Ductati super bike , Volvo V40 BTCC, DB7 I6 and Clio V6.

In conjunction with this Paul was responsible for TWR's Engine, Composite Manufacturing, Machining, and Racing divisions.

Paul's great all round experience helps to ensure you have the maximum amount of fun in a safe environment.

We ask customers to complete an Evaluation Form after our events. Feedback from these forms tells us that when rating their overall experience of their events, 75% of customers gave us an Excellent score of 5 (5 out of 5) and the other 25% gave us a Very Good score of 4 (4 out of 5).

Keeping you safe and happy

All our cars are prepared for events in our own workshop. We have high standards for car preparation and quality checking of components to keep all our drivers as safe as possible when on track.

Track Days - a great day out for all

The Track Day events run on both weekdays and weekends at nearly all of the UK's best race circuits. Track Days give drivers the opportunity for high speed driving without the restrictions of public roads. There is always lots to see and do at Track Days with cars running from Fiats to Ferrari's and Protons to Porsches.

Track Days are great for spectators too, with lots of action out on track to watch. Wander around the paddock and you'll be able to chat to car owners about their vehicles and driving experiences.
