On March 11th 2011, the F1 Grand Prix season kicks into life with qualifying for the Bahrain race; throughout February 2011, the teams unveiled their cars and drivers for the upcoming season, and many of these greats who have entertained us for many years started as youngsters. Former British champions Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button started racing at the age of 8, whilst Ayrton Senna first got into karting at the age of 13. This package is based on 3 children sharing a car and instructor for 2 hours. Following a briefing, each child will experience two fifteen minute spells behind the wheel, in which they will be assessed on a track which has been specially set up to suit their requirements.

This package is designed to teach children how to pull away smoothly, brake safely and learn the basics of gear changes.

First Drive Exclusive (priced £169):

If you want to give you child more than 30 minutes behind the wheel, then the exclusive package is ideal. With this package, they’ll get an exclusive 2 hours with an instructor and car in which to hone their driving skills. As with the first drive package, the exclusive package will teach the children the fundamentals of driving, right up to reversing if appropriate.
